Associate Director (Information Technology)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement information technology (“IT”) strategies, policies and procedures to support the company’s long-term goals
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance and optimization of IT systems, applications and infrastructure
- Manage day-to-day IT operations including planning, resource allocation and trouble-shooting
- Monitor IT performance metrics and work closely with the relevant service providers to enhance service quality
- Design and implement IT solutions that enhance productivity, efficiency and security
- Manage IT-related projects, including the evaluation, selection and implementation of new technologies, systems, applications and governance. Assist in sourcing IT-related equipment
- Perform other IT-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- University degree in computer science, information technology or related field
- At least 10 years of solid experience in IT management with strong technical expertise in areas such as enterprise IT infrastructure, systems administration, software applications, IT security and governance. Work experience in government or public organisations is a plus
- Committed to contributing to the future development of Hong Kong and achieving the HKIC’s objectives
- Strong sense of integrity and professional ethics
- Good team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to translate technical information for non-technical audience
- Proven track records in IT project implementation, service enhancement and vendor management
- Good understanding of the Basic Law of the HKSAR
- Good command of written Chinese and English
- Willing to work outside normal office hours as and when required
Remuneration Package
A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidates, taking into account the relevant depth and breadth of experience and qualifications. Fringe benefits include medical and dental benefits and paid annual leave.
