Senior Officer (Finance)

Key Requirements

  • Support a full spectrum of finance and treasury operations, including day-to-day accounting, annual budgeting, treasury portfolio monitoring, liquidity forecasting, and settlement execution
  • Assist in performing comprehensive financial and treasury analyses, and compiling treasury performance reports for management review
  • Coordinate with internal and external counterparts on matters relating to financial and treasury operations
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining the treasury policy, procedures manuals and relevant guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records of financial and treasury transactions and ensure strict compliance with relevant policies, regulations, internal guidelines, and audit requirements
  • Perform other assigned duties as required

Requirements

  • University degree with in Accounting, Finance or related field with good academic results
  • Professional accounting qualifications such as HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in audit, accounting or commercial finance
  • Experience working within reputable financial institutions, asset management firms or Big 4 accounting firms is a plus
  • Good understanding of the Basic Law of the HKSAR
  • Committed to contributing to the future development of Hong Kong and achieving the HKIC’s objectives
  • Strong sense of integrity and professional ethics
  • Strong understanding of multiple treasury products across asset classes and front to back knowledge of trade lifecycle is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Attention to details and high degree of accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (including advanced Excel)
  • Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
  • Willing to work outside normal office hours as and when required

 

(Candidates with less experience may be considered for an offer of appointment at Officer level.)
